草山記憶

The Memory Of KINJO

KINJO草山金工創立於2006年，從陽明山上的金工工作室發展成全台首屈一指的金工體驗品牌，

以陽明山的舊名「草山」為名，英文名稱 KINJO，則源於台語「慶祝」之意。

Founded in 2006, KINJO has evolved from a goldsmith studio on Yangmingshan into Taiwan's leading goldsmithing experience brand,

taking its name from the former name of Yangmingshan, "Grass Mountain," while the English name KINJO originates from the Taiwanese term meaning "celebration."

草山金工創辦人劉冠伶，取得藝術碩士學位後，在大學授課藝術創作多年，

對於金屬工藝的執著與才華，讓她獲得「國家工藝獎」的肯定。

而後從陽明山山腳下的一間小工作坊開始了「草山金工」的雛形，

將看似有門檻、難度的金工製程轉為人人都能參與、體驗的金工課程，讓大人小孩都能樂在其中。

The founder of KINJO, Guan-Ling Liu, obtained a master's degree in fine arts and taught art creation at the university level for many years.

Her dedication and talent in metal craftsmanship earned her recognition with the 'National Craft Award.'

Subsequently, she initiated the prototype of 'KINJO' from a small workshop at the foot of Yangmingshan.

She transformed seemingly daunting metalworking processes into accessible and experiential courses for everyone, allowing both adults and children to enjoy the craft.
