《 STEP BY STEP 》

穿上圓裙，開啟手作戒指體驗，慶祝美好的一天！

① 量測・測定・Measuring

將圈圈量尺通過指節，套入指間。

可多試幾個圈圈，直到找到您最合手舒適的圈圈指圍。

The best ring size is able to allow the sizing tool to pass through the knuckles and slide along the finger smoothly.

② 質感敲花・質感の叩き・Impact Texturing

銀材先退火軟化後，方可敲花作業。

銀材經敲花後變硬無法塑型，因金屬分子結構回覆緊密，

此時可再次退火，以利後續加工。

Only begin texturing the silver material after it has been annealed and softened. After the texturing process, the silver material will be hardened and non-moldable due to its resumption to original dense molecular structure. It can be annealed again to favor subsequent processing.

③ 鋼印敲字・文字刻印・Stamping

挑選喜歡的鋼印，以鐵鉆與鐵槌敲花至銀材上。

力道與字距，需練習試敲方能熟練。

Pick up your favorite stamp and knock it on the silver material backed with an anvil with the hammer. Trial knocking is needed in order to skillfully apply the right knocking force and the gap between the fonts.

④ 退火・焼戻し・Annealing

退火是使金屬分子結構鬆散，達到軟化可塑型的狀態。

純銀退火溫度攝氏300°C、銀熔點為960°C。

退火時小心作業，勿燒至通紅使銀材熔化。

退火時將銀材放置在耐火磚上，

以火槍內焰尖端前1cm處，來回在銀材慢慢移動，

燒至銀材呈現白色泛淺紅色停止，

關閉火槍，冷卻後備用。

Annealing is a process to loosen the metal molecular structure up to a soft moldable state. The annealing temperature of pure silver is 300°C. Please be careful while processing annealing. Do not burn the silver to red hot and melt it. While annealing, place the silver material on a firebrick and move it back and forth 1cm above the tip of the inner flame of the torch slowly. Burn until the silver material has become white to light red in color and then stop. Turn off the torch and let it cool down.

⑤ 成形・曲げ・Bending

《先製作初步圓形》

將銀條退火後，使用橡皮槌、戒指棒等輔助工具，

先將銀條穩穩彎折呈初步圓形。

《再製作指定的戒圍號數》

將圓形雙向套入戒指棒，並敲擊服貼於上，

此時因造型不同，會需要服貼於不同的戒指棒號數，

講師現場將為您各別說明。

Basic round ring making: After the silver bar is annealed, use a rubber mallet and auxiliary tools to beat it around the sizing tool firmly.

⑥ 鋸切・鋸による切断・Sawing

將物件穩定放置於銼橋上，

和鋸弓成垂直，於鋸絲抹臘潤滑，

一手穩定物件、一手向下拉動鋸切，

重複上下拉動直至斷開，聲音順暢穩定。

Stabilize the object on the filing pad perpendicular to the sawing bow, lubricate the saw and then pull it downward to saw.

⑦ 焊接・溶接・Soldering

於密合焊道，塗適量助焊劑，幫助銀焊藥流動。

以熔點802°C的SH高溫銀焊藥，放置於焊道上，

加熱到達銀焊藥熔點，移開火源使其固化接合。

焊接後以明礬酸洗，以利去除氧化物。

Place the solder with object content and low melting point on the solder joint, heat until the silver solder melts, and remove from the fire to allow the joint to fuse.

⑧ 銼刀粗銼・やすりしあげ・Filing

觀察物件造型，以橘柄銼刀妥善修整毛邊，

物件線條將更俐落優美。

Trim with a file.

⑨ 砂紙細磨・研磨・Grinding

金工人常說：三分建構、七分研磨。

以水砂紙逐步細磨，作品將呈現貴金屬獨有高雅光澤。

Fine grinding with water sandpaper.

⑩ 拋光完成・仕上げ・Polishing & Finishing

磁針拋光、鋼珠拋光、拭銀布拋光。

辛苦了！獨一無二的作品完成！

Polish with a magnetic needle, steel bead, or silver polishing cloth.
